Introducing: The Fiat Podcast with Khristine Tolentino

“And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17

Welcome to The Fiat Podcast. I'm your host, Khristine Tolentino.

My mission is to encourage Catholic women to discern and follow God’s call to create content, build businesses, and lead communities that highlight our Catholic faith.

I offer this introductory podcast to Saint Maximillian Kolbe, patron saint of media communications.

Listen and reflect with me sisters, as we pray about how to combat the intimidating resistance we often feel as Catholic women dreaming of building and growing our own faith-based platforms.

Have you ever felt an intense call to use your God-given gifts to be creative for the Lord, but you also find yourself battling with being discouraged?

Yes, you want to proclaim how much you love your Catholic faith, but you also feel scared to put yourself out there as an unmistakable Catholic woman in how you create content, build your business brand, and show up in communities.

You’re not alone. So many of us struggle with this see-saw, up and down feeling of inspiration-then-desolation when we’re called to express ourselves as a spiritual, Catholic creative.

This is why I created The Fiat Podcast and blog - to remind you… there’s a way to hurdle over these negative and fear-inducing forces that hinder us and suppress us from being fully who God calls us to be.

Like Mother Mary and her Fiat, as we submit and surrender ourselves totally to God’s calling for our lives, we become less doubtful and less insecure and instead, we become more trusting and more willing to follow God’s plans for us.

In this faith-rooted surrender, we can finally be wholeheartedly and clearly Catholic in what we build, participate in, and share with the world.

Sister, if you’re feeling reluctant to reveal your hopes and announce your dreams to become a Catholic content creator, business owner, and community leader, you don’t have to battle your anxieties on your own.

Together, we’ll help each other stay humble, encouraged, uplifted, and inspired so that we can produce, refine, and release work that glorifies God’s greatness.

I pray that you too will feel joyful and aligned as you respond to God’s calling for you to create and publish your Catholic offerings publicly, with complete surrender and unbridled faithfulness.

Up next, in our first full inaugural episode, I’ll share more about how we can overcome our fears to use our God-given gifts as we create spiritual content, build faith-based businesses, and start our own Catholic communities.

And stay tuned, all the way to the very end of our upcoming podcast episode. To commemorate our first podcast, I’ll be sharing a special prayer for Catholic women that the Holy Spirit impressed on my heart to offer you.

My hope is that this prayer brings comfort for Catholic creatives and content creators like you and me - we, who are summoned, tested, but still eager to create and offer our best for our merciful and gracious God, as we evangelize and share our collective mission to feature our beautiful Catholic faith!

May our souls and good works proclaim the greatness of the Lord!

Fiat,

Khristine
