Who is Graceful Discernment for?

The Graceful Discernment spiritual direction process is created for Catholic women who need support and guidance on their discernment journey as they contemplate impactful decisions in their personal/family life, career goals, or spiritual path.

What value can I receive in spiritual direction?

Spiritual direction is a sacred opportunity to slow down, listen more deeply, and become attentive to the ways God is working in your life.

Each spiritual direction session provides a prayerful and confidential space where you can reflect on your relationship with Christ, discern God's invitations, and grow in greater freedom, peace, and faithfulness to His loving and perfect will.

Is spiritual direction the same as therapy or counseling?

Spiritual direction is not therapy or counseling. Rather, it is a prayerful relationship of accompaniment in which together, we seek to recognize and respond to God's presence, activity, and calling in your life.

My role as your Catholic spiritual director is not to make decisions for you or tell you what God is saying.

Instead, I will prayerfully accompany you as you learn to listen to the Holy Spirit, recognize God's invitations, and deepen your trust in His calling.

What are your fees for the Graceful Discernment spiritual direction series?

At a glance:

• You will receive a total of 7 spiritual direction sessions (plus 1 free discovery session)

• The total cost for all 7 sessions is $350 ($50/session)

• Sessions are up to 60 minutes long and are typically scheduled once a week, for 7 consecutive weeks.

Payment Options:

• Option 1: Pay $50 after each session, you will receive an online bill

• Option 2: Pay in full for all 7 sessions in advance for $325, and save $25

Your session fee supports the time, preparation, prayer, ongoing formation, and professional ministry that I offer in accompanying you on your spiritual discernment journey.

Do you offer financial assistance?

Yes, because I believe that finances should not prevent someone from seeking spiritual direction.

If my standard fee would create a significant financial hardship, please reach out to discuss whether a reduced-fee arrangement could work.

What will I receive in my spiritual direction investment?

Your spiritual direction fee includes:

• Accompaniment with a trained Catholic spiritual director and certified life coach

• A confidential and prayerful space for discernment

• Dedicated time and attentive listening

• Preparation and prayer surrounding our sessions

• Support in recognizing God's movements in your life

• Guidance in developing a more trusting relationship with Christ

• Gentle advocacy as you discern God's invitations and the next steps

• Ongoing commitment to my own formation as a spiritual director

What other kind of coaching do you offer?

I also offer other Catholic coaching in spiritual business foundations with Fiat Business Academy.

In my Magnificat Coaching program, I offer one on one (private) and masterclass group coaching sessions.

What is your spiritual direction process inspired by?

My Catholic-led spiritual direction process is formed with my degree in Psychology, my graduate training in spiritual wellness coaching, Ignatian spiritual exercises, discernment conferences led by Fr. Timothy Gallagher, Catholic spiritual direction training, my own system called Graceful Discernment, and my faithfulness to the Sacred Scripture and Traditions of the Catholic Church.

What makes your spiritual direction approach unique?

My coaching approach is deeply rooted in my Catholic faith as I primarily and humbly serve other Catholic women.

I blend my Catholic faith not only in my spiritual direction process, but also in how I carefully run my coaching business as a Christian business owner.

I believe that we are all called to recognize, sharpen, and share our God-given gifts so that we may use our talents to amplify His Kingdom and glorify His will.

My commitment as your Catholic coach and spiritual director is to help you realize and activate your gifts and spiritual mission as you discern God’s calling for you.

Unlike other profit-minded coaches, my priority and mission as a Catholic coach and spiritual director is inspired by my desire to celebrate our Catholic faith, follow Christ, and serve God’s people first.

What can I expect from our spiritual direction sessions?

Together we’ll walk through each of these five phases to help you clear your mind, unblock your obstacles, and openly receive God’s calling for you.

Phase One: Chaos to Silence

Calm the inner noise, confusion and aimlessness by recognizing, trusting, (and following!) the voice of The Good Shepherd.

Phase Two: Darkness to Light

Bring to light all of your worries and worst case scenarios to cast out the heaviness that weighs on your heart and burdens your spirit.

Phase Three: My Desires vs. God’s Desires

Discern the details and motivations behind what you want versus what God wants for your life.

Phase Four: Control to Surrender

Let go of your personal agendas, debilitating fears, and grip for control by surrendering your path ahead to Christ.

Phase Five: Choosing with Peace and Confidence

After surrendering your path to Christ and aligning your desires with God’s desires for you, you can discern your next decision with more peace and clarity.

Summary: what are the specifics of our spiritual direction sessions?

• We’ll have a total of 8 sessions together. Here’s the breakdown:

  • 1 free discovery call

  • 1 intro session to start your spiritual direction series

  • 5 spiritual direction sessions

  • 1 closing session to close your spiritual direction series

• We’ll meet once a week for 7 consecutive weeks.

• Each of our spiritual direction session can last up to one hour.

• We will connect through Zoom

• To optimize our sessions, you must have a computer, cell phone with reliable internet connection, and an email account.

After our discovery call, if you want to proceed and commit to spiritual direction sessions, you’ll receive a contract to review.

Once the contract is reviewed, signed, and received, we can book and begin your spiritual direction sessions.
